A roaring and rollicking night from rock-and-roll Titus Andronicus

At some point during Titus Andronicus's rollicking show at the sold-out Black Cat venue Saturday night, guitarist Adam Reich kicked into the shimmering riff of Tom Petty's "American Girl" and leader Patrick Stickles shot the roiling, jumping mass in front of the stage a quick glance of confirmation. Then he was off into the desperate lyrics, secure in the knowledge that everyone was on the bandwagon.
